Youth Transitions to Work Program (YTTW) Continuation Grant


Fiscal Year 2016


The New Jersey Department of Labor and Workforce Development (LWD) is proud to announce a continuation Notice of Grant Opportunity (NGO) for the Youth Transitions to Work Program (YTTW) for Fiscal Year 2016. This grant opportunity represents Cycle II funding.


Only current Fiscal Year 2015 YTTW grant recipients are eligible to apply for Fiscal Year 2016 funding. All applicants must meet one of the following criteria:

  • Any employer;
  • Any labor organization which represents workers in the occupation for which the apprentices will be trained;
  • Public high schools within New Jersey;
  • Public vocational schools within New Jersey;
  • Two- and four-year institutions of higher education;
  • Public or private non-profit agencies;
  • Business or trade organizations representing a particular trade, group of trades, contractors or employers;
  • Community-based organizations; and
  • Faith-based organizations.

Take Notice that, in compliance with N.J.S.A. 52:14-34.4 et seq., the Department of Labor and Workforce Development (hereinafter "the Department" or "LWD") regularly publishes on its website at all notices of fund availability pertaining to federal or state grant funds, which may be awarded by the Department. The notices of fund availability may be found on the Department's website under the heading "Public Notices" and the subheading "Notice of Availability of Grant Program Funds."
