The New Jersey Department of Labor and Workforce Development (LWD) is proud to announce a Notice of Grant Opportunity (NGO) for its Opportunity4Jersey training grant program for Fiscal Year 2014.
The Opportunity4Jersey Training Grant program is designed for eligible training providers to train qualified displaced unemployed workers in occupational demand skills, which connect to immediate job openings with partnering businesses. Approved training programs must fall within one of the state's targeted industry sectors.
This competitive grant program is open to post-secondary educational institutions and/or approved training providers working in collaboration with pre-identified New Jersey businesses or consortia of businesses from one of the state's targeted industry sectors, and partnering with local One-Stop Career Centers and New Jersey's Talent Networks to source and recruit eligible training candidates.
