The New Jersey Department of Labor and Workforce Development (LWD) is proud to announce a Notice of Grant Opportunity (NGO) for the Supported Employment - Long-Term Follow-Along program for Fiscal Year 2016.


The purpose of the Supported Employment (SE) Long-Term Follow-Along (LTFA) program is to provide extended services to the Division of Vocational Rehabilitation Services (DVRS) clients in supported employment who have transitioned from the DVRS Title I and Title VI funded SE intensive services and require the continuance of ongoing support services to maintain employment.


Applicants can be private or public nonprofit or for profit organizations including:

  • Faith-based organizations, such as nonprofit organizations with a religious or faith-based association,
  • Community-based organizations, such as nonprofit neighborhood or grass-roots entities,
  • Community rehabilitation programs, such as for profit or nonprofit programs providing employment-related services to people with disabilities. Applicants must adhere to the Rules and Regulations Governing Community Based Vocational Rehabilitation Organizations,
  • Applicants need to be fully cognizant of the requirements of NJAC 12:51, and have a demonstrated two years' worth of capacity to deliver the service they intend to vend.

Take Notice that, in compliance with N.J.S.A. 52:14-34.4 et seq., the Department of Labor and Workforce Development (hereinafter "the Department" or "LWD") regularly publishes on its website at all notices of fund availability pertaining to federal or state grant funds, which may be awarded by the Department. The notices of fund availability may be found on the Department's website under the heading "Public Notices" and the subheading "Notice of Availability of Grant Program Funds."
